Affiliate disclosure
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Some links on Base Camp are affiliate links: if you sign up or buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This money helps keep Base Camp free to read.
How we label it
- Affiliate links are marked with “Affiliate” or a short note next to the link, and use the rel=”sponsored” tag.
- Sponsored content is paid for by a partner. It sits inside a clearly labelled “Sponsored” box, or the whole article is marked “Sponsored” at the top.
- Ads only appear inside articles, never disguised as news.
Our independence
Partners never decide what we write, how we rate them or when we publish. Our news, guides and opinions are our own. We only link to exchanges, wallets and tools we would consider using ourselves, but a link is not an endorsement or a guarantee of safety. Always check that a service is allowed and licensed where you live.
