Artificial Inu Whale Sells 20M AI for $1.09M as the Price Drops 32%

The trader who rode Artificial Inu to the top of Robinhood Chain sold the last 20 million AI in one transaction. Why one sale moved it 18%, and what holds AI up now.

The short version

  • Artificial Inu fell 18% in an hour after one wallet sold 20,062,560 AI for 460.9 ETH, about $1.09 million, in a single transaction at 22:56 UTC on October 23; AI is down 32% in 24 hours at $0.0557.
  • It was the trader’s full exit: the same wallet sold 6.1 million AI within an hour of the $0.388 top on September 17, made roughly $2.14 million overall and now holds zero AI, while the whole token has only about $4.7 million of liquidity.
  • The crew is watching $0.0514 as support and $0.0749, the price before the sale, as the level to reclaim, plus any move by the Long.xyz founder’s early 758x stake.

The Artificial Inu whale who rode AI from its first week to the top of Robinhood Chain just walked out the door, all at once. At 22:56 UTC on October 23 one wallet sold 20,062,560 AI in a single transaction and got 460.9 ETH back, about $1.09 million. AI dropped 18% within the hour and is down 32% in 24 hours at $0.0557 at the time of writing.

At the September 17 peak, the same 20 million tokens were worth about $7.8 million. So who is the seller, why did one sale move the price that much, and what is left holding AI up?

Arkham flagged the wallet back on September 1, when it still held 2.5% of the AI supply:

This guy just bought $650K of AI in one clip… then he sold it.

But – @Salem1299534 still holds 2.5% of the $AI supply on Robinhood Chain. He’s up $6.5 Million trading memes with the vast majority of that made in AI.

Was this just a publicity stunt for $AI?

Who Sold the Artificial Inu Tokens?

The seller is a memecoin trader who goes by Salem on X, and the wallet’s history reads like a full cycle. It bought its first AI on July 15, one day after the AI/NVDA pool opened on Long.xyz. It kept adding through the summer and sat on one of the biggest bags as AI ran to a $0.388 high on September 17.

Then it sold the top. At 21:18 UTC that night, less than an hour after the high, it sold the first 6.1 million AI for about $2.03 million, and AI closed the hour 14% lower. The rest it held through an 80% slide, then sold every last token in one go on Friday. The wallet now holds zero AI, which you can check on the token page of the Robinhood Chain explorer.

Onchain analyst EmberCN tallied about $980,000 in and $3.12 million out over the whole trade, a profit of roughly $2.14 million. That is a very good trade. It is also a lot less than the bag was worth on paper a month ago, which is the part every memecoin holder should sit with.

Why One Sale Sent AI Down 18%

The sale was big for the pools it hit. AI trades in about 30 liquidity pools on Robinhood Chain, and DEX Screener shows about $4.7 million of liquidity across all of them today. Selling $1.09 million into that is like pulling a quarter of the water out of the tank.

A router split the order across more than a dozen pools, from AI/WETH and AI/USDG to AI/NVDA and memecoin pairs like PONS, to cut the slippage, the gap between the price you see and the price you get. It still hurt. AI went from about $0.0749 before the sale to a $0.0617 close for the hour on the main AI/WETH pool, and that pool printed a wick down to $0.0382 before arbitrage traders filled the gap.

Then the selling kept coming. Nobody who saw a wallet with a 2.5% stake leave the room wanted to be the last one in it. AI touched $0.0514 on Saturday morning, and DEX Screener counts about $10.7 million of AI traded in the last 24 hours, about a fifth of its whole valuation.

What Is Artificial Inu, and What Holds It Up?

Artificial Inu is a dog memecoin paired with tokenized NVIDIA stock instead of dollars or ETH. It launched on Long.xyz, a launchpad on Robinhood Chain that pairs memecoins with stock tokens. On its own site, the team says every trade sends a cut to a Community Vault of NVDA stock tokens, and the fees collected in AI are burned or locked.

The vault is real but small. The site shows about $387,000 of NVDA tokens in the vault and about $1.01 million more sitting in the liquidity pools, $1.42 million in all. The whale took out $1.09 million in one transaction. AI does not give holders a claim on that NVDA, so the stock is a narrative, not a floor.

Then there is the Long.xyz founder, Nate. Arkham data in mid-September showed Nate bought $3,800 of AI at a $219,800 market cap, a stake that was worth $2.92 million at the time, a 758x return. If that stake is still unsold, at today’s $54.5 million valuation it is worth closer to $940,000. That position is the next one traders will watch.

Artificial Inu Price Analysis: Where Does AI Go After the Whale Exit?

Artificial Inu price hourly chart AI/USD, October 21 to 24, with the October 23 whale sale hour shaded
AIUSD Chart 1H GeckoTerminal

AI is in a downtrend after the whale exit, with no sign of buyers stepping in yet. It trades at $0.0557, under the 50-hour EMA at $0.0692 and the 200-hour EMA at $0.0809, and it has made a lower high on every bounce since the sale. That leaves it 86% below the $0.388 top.

The levels the crew is watching:

  • Bull case: a reclaim of $0.0749, the price right before the sale, would mean the market has absorbed the exit; above it sits the 200-hour EMA at $0.0809.
  • Base case: a range between $0.0514, Saturday’s low, and $0.0692 while volume cools back down.
  • Bear case: a break of $0.0514 opens the $0.0382 wick from the sale hour, with little traded in between.

The Artificial Inu whale sale is a reminder of how a memecoin top works: the wallets that came in early leave in size, and the pools are only as deep as the people still in them. With one big holder out, the question for AI is no longer who sells next, but who is left to buy.
