The short version
- Earnings this week start with Apple and Palantir after the US close on Monday, then AMD and Super Micro on Tuesday, Circle and Qualcomm on Wednesday, IREN on Thursday and TeraWulf on Friday.
- It matters for crypto because Bitcoin’s daily moves have a 0.66 correlation with the Nasdaq 100, and it fell 4.1% the day Alphabet dropped 12.6% last week.
- Next: whether Bitcoin can close back above its 50-day average at $82,006 after the AI reports. Follow Base Camp on X for the key numbers as each one lands.
Earnings this week start tonight, and crypto traders have a reason to care after last week. Alphabet fell 12.6% the day after its report, the Nasdaq closed October with its worst month since March 2025, and Bitcoin dropped 4.1% on the same Thursday.
Now a second, wider wave of AI names reports. Apple and Palantir go first after Monday’s close, chipmakers follow, and on Thursday and Friday it’s two former Bitcoin miners that now rent their power to AI labs. Bitcoin trades at $77,937 at the time of writing, down 3% on the week. So which reports matter for crypto, and when do they land?
Palantir confirmed tonight’s date in October, with the webcast after the US close:
When Are the Earnings This Week?
Ten reports matter most for crypto, from Monday to Friday. Most come after the US close at 21:00 UTC (4:00 p.m. in New York), now that US clocks went back an hour on Sunday.

Circle and TeraWulf are the exceptions: both publish before the US open, with calls at 13:00 UTC (8:00 a.m. in New York). Circle’s webcast runs on its YouTube and X channels. IREN reports on Thursday, the same evening as Cloudflare and IonQ.
Tuesday is also the US midterm election, so AMD and Super Micro report while the votes are being counted.

Why Big Tech Results Move Bitcoin Right Now
Because Bitcoin trades like one more AI stock this autumn. The Bitcoin Nasdaq correlation, how closely its daily moves line up with the Nasdaq 100, was 0.66 over the last 30 trading days, by our count from Yahoo Finance and Binance closes. At 1 they would move in lockstep.
The bad days carry over best. Look at the last round of reports: when Apple fell 7.4% on July 31, Bitcoin lost 2.9% that day. When IREN dropped 12.5% on August 28, Bitcoin lost 3.0%. Palantir’s 29.5% jump in August came on a day Bitcoin added only 0.9%. That’s one quarter of data, and other news moved Bitcoin on those days too, but it fits what traders have seen all autumn: plenty of the downside, little of the upside.
The bar is high for Palantir earnings and AMD earnings this time. Palantir guided to $2.160 billion to $2.164 billion of revenue for the quarter, and AMD to about $13 billion, give or take $300 million. AMD has a lot to win back after it lost 10.9% on Friday, when Intel’s weak forecast dragged every chip stock down.
So the question for each call is the same one Big Tech faced last week. Does AI demand keep growing fast enough to pay for all the spending? A clear yes from Apple, Palantir and AMD would take pressure off the whole risk trade. Another round of big drops after hours would hit Bitcoin first, because it’s the only one of these markets open all night.

IREN and TeraWulf: Where Crypto and AI Meet
These two are the most direct link between the AI trade and crypto, because both started as Bitcoin miners and are turning their sites into AI data centers. Their stocks show how hard that trade has been hit. From September 18 to Friday’s close, IREN fell 48.7% to $23.95 and TeraWulf 31.0% to $11.73.
IREN’s last report showed the switch in numbers. In its fiscal year results, AI cloud revenue of $70.5 million passed Bitcoin mining revenue of $66.7 million in the April to June quarter for the first time. Mining revenue had been $111.2 million a quarter earlier. IREN also booked $638.8 million of write-downs for the year, mostly for mining machines it switched off to make room for AI chips.
The company says it has $4 billion of contracted yearly revenue for its 2026 capacity, against $1 billion running today. The first of four 50-megawatt deployments for Microsoft at Childress, Texas, is delivered. Thursday’s IREN earnings have to show the other three on schedule for delivery by the end of 2026.
TeraWulf went further. In its second-quarter release, 71% of its $44.8 million of revenue came from leasing data center space, not from mining. After the quarter it signed a 20-year lease with Anthropic for about 401 megawatts in Kentucky, worth about $19 billion over the first term.
Why should a crypto trader care? Every megawatt that moves to AI stops mining Bitcoin, so these firms produce fewer coins to sell. It also means the listed mining stocks now follow AI contracts more than the Bitcoin price, and a bad night for them is a bad night for the AI trade Bitcoin moves with.
Circle Is the Stablecoin Test
Circle is the one report this week that is about crypto itself. Its revenue comes almost entirely from the interest on the reserves behind USDC, so the numbers show how much the stablecoin business earns with rates where they are.
The stock has lost 21.0% since September 18, to $72.54, and its last report in August left it flat. For Circle earnings, Wall Street expects about $788 million of revenue for the third quarter. It reports the morning after AMD and the midterm vote, so it’s the one call this week where crypto gets its own headline instead of borrowing one from AI.
Bitcoin Price Analysis: Levels to Watch This Week

Bitcoin starts the week under its 50-day moving average (MA), the average close of the last 50 days, after four red weekly closes in a row. These are the levels that matter:
- Resistance: $82,006. The 50-day MA. Bitcoin hasn’t closed above it since October 21.
- Above that: $84,898. The October 21 high, set the day before Meta’s report started the AI sell-off.
- Support: $76,326. Friday’s low, the bottom of last week’s drop after Alphabet’s report.
- Below that: $73,211. The 200-day MA, the long-term trend line.
A daily close back above $82,006 would be the first sign that the four red weeks are over. A Meta-style drop after Palantir or AMD would send Bitcoin back to Friday’s low at $76,326, with US stocks closed and crypto the only market open.

Last week, the AI trade decided Bitcoin’s direction. This week it does the same, and two of the companies reporting used to mine it.
