ANSEM Coin Is Down 89% From Its High as Ansem Goes Quiet on The Black Bull

The Black Bull has lost 89% since July and 67% in three weeks. Ansem's wallets still hold 58% of the supply and haven't sold, but he has stopped talking about the coin and buyers have left.

The short version

  • ANSEM coin: The Black Bull trades at $0.0473, down 89% from its $0.449 high on July 6 and 67% since October 11, cutting its market cap from about $448 million to $47 million.
  • Ansem’s two wallets still hold 578 million ANSEM, 58% of the supply, and we found no sales; his last send was 2.2 million tokens to six wallets on October 21.
  • The crew is watching Friday’s $0.0430 low and whether Ansem says anything about the coin or the weekly creator-fee drops he promised in June.

The ANSEM coin has lost 89% of its value since July. The Black Bull, the Solana memecoin named after trader Ansem, trades at $0.0473 at the time of writing, against a peak of $0.449 on July 6. Its market cap has shrunk from about $448 million to $47 million.

The slide has sped up this month. ANSEM closed at $0.142 on October 11 and has dropped 67% since, touching $0.0430 on Friday. About 151,000 wallets hold it, and anyone who bought in the summer is sitting on a heavy loss.

Plenty of them bought because of this post. In June, Ansem promised to share the coin’s trading fees with holders every week:

there's enough good tokens that exist already, but sure i will airdrop portions of the creator fees that have been directed to my pump fun profile

retweet this + follow me on there + comment with your pump profile & ill pick randomly weekly

Ansem Didn’t Launch ANSEM, but He Holds Most of It

An anonymous wallet created ANSEM on Pump.fun on June 16 and, within a minute, sent 650 million of the 1 billion tokens to a wallet tied to Ansem. That wallet also receives 100% of the coin’s creator fees, the small cut of every trade that Pump.fun pays to a token’s creator. Ansem has said he didn’t make the coin.

He embraced it anyway. Between June 27 and 29 he airdropped tokens he put at about $7 million to holders, and promised weekly drops from the creator fees on top. Within three days, ANSEM went from a market cap of about $350,000 to $144 million.

Where Is Ansem’s ANSEM Now?

Still in his wallets. We traced them on Solana. About 63 million tokens left the first wallet by June 30, mostly in the airdrops. On August 1 it sent 490 million to a second wallet, and that wallet hasn’t moved a single token since.

Since July, the first wallet has sent out only about 8 million more ANSEM, in small batches. The last went out on October 21: 2.2 million tokens to six wallets. Together, the two wallets still hold 578 million ANSEM, 58% of the supply.

Everything that left went out as plain transfers, and we found no sales on a DEX. So this isn’t a dev dump. Ansem’s own stake has shrunk from about $260 million at the top to $27 million.

Why Is the ANSEM Coin Falling?

Because nothing is holding it up. A memecoin has no product and no revenue; its price runs on attention, and the attention here came from Ansem. His recent posts on X are about the Binance hack, Hyperliquid and his trading setups, with nothing on ANSEM or the weekly drops.

Buyers have left with him. The ANSEM coin’s main trading pool did about $17.5 million a day in its first two weeks. Over the past week, it averaged about $1 million.

The supply adds a second weight. With 58% of all ANSEM in two wallets, one person can move the price at any moment. He hasn’t sold, but a buyer has to price in that he could.
