The short version
- Bitcoin ETF flows reached a net $137.3 million on October 28, with $136.0 million into BlackRock’s IBIT and $1.3 million into Bitwise’s BITB, the third inflow day in a row.
- Three days have won back $423.6 million of the $773.5 million that left last Thursday and Friday and put October roughly $110 million in the plus, but ten of twelve funds printed zero.
- The crew is watching whether Fidelity’s FBTC returns, BTC at $79,892 against support at $79,221, and Ethereum ETF outflows that shrank to $21.4 million.
Bitcoin ETF flows stayed green on Fed day. US spot Bitcoin ETFs took in a net $137.3 million on Wednesday, October 28, with $136.0 million going into BlackRock’s IBIT and $1.3 million into Bitwise’s BITB.
It is the third inflow day in a row, and it pushes the funds back into the plus for October. Ethereum ETFs lost money again, but only $21.4 million, their smallest outflow this week. BTC trades at $79,892 at the time of writing, back under $80,000 after the Fed held rates. Is this a turn, or one fund doing all the work?
Farside’s Wednesday update has every fund’s number:
How Much Did Bitcoin ETF Flows Win Back This Week?
More than half of last week’s exit. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday together brought in $423.6 million, against $773.5 million that left on Thursday and Friday, Farside’s data shows. Wednesday’s $137.3 million was a little smaller than Tuesday’s $176.0 million, but no fund reported an outflow for the third day running.

That flips the month. The funds were $313.5 million in the red for October at Friday’s close; three inflow days later they are roughly $110 million up. IBIT has done it almost alone: $397.8 million in three days, more than the $364.4 million it lost on Thursday and Friday.

Why Is IBIT the Only Big Buyer?
Because the others have not come back. Fidelity’s FBTC, the second inflow on Tuesday, printed zero again on Wednesday. It is still $224.8 million short of what it lost last Thursday and Friday. Ten of the twelve funds reported nothing at all, including Grayscale’s GBTC and ARK’s ARKB.
So the buying is real, but narrow. BlackRock’s fund took 99% of Wednesday’s money, and it did so on the day the Fed kept rates at 3.75% to 4.00% with two officials voting for a hike. A wider turn would need FBTC and ARKB to show up for more than one day.
Are Ethereum ETF Outflows Slowing?
Yes, day by day. Ethereum ETFs lost $88.6 million on Monday, $60.2 million on Tuesday and $21.4 million on Wednesday, per Farside. BlackRock’s ETHA lost $44.8 million, while Fidelity’s FETH took in $18.8 million, Grayscale’s smaller Ethereum fund $3.6 million and MSSE $1.0 million.
FETH has now taken in money three days running, $63.5 million in all. ETHA is still the problem: $1.27 billion out in October, out of $1.35 billion for the whole group. ETH trades at $2,304, down 13.3% in 30 days, against a 3.8% drop for BTC.

Bitcoin Price: Will $79,221 Hold?

It is being tested now. The BTC price closed Wednesday at $81,344, its seventh close in a row under the 50-day moving average at $81,975, and slipped to $79,892 overnight. The floor is $79,221, with $76,264 below it. A daily close above $81,975 would be the first since October 21.
TRAIL MAP: Indicators Worth Knowing: Moving Averages, RSI and Volume
Three days of inflows have put October back in the green. Whether it stays there depends on more than one fund buying. Thursday’s numbers land after the US close, and the first thing to check is whether FBTC is back.
