The short version

  • Bitcoin ETF inflows returned on November 4 with $74.6 million net in, as Fidelity’s FBTC took in $236.7 million and outweighed the $201.2 million BlackRock’s IBIT lost.
  • Ethereum ETFs took in $53.0 million, their first green day after seven red ones that cost $656.4 million since October 26.
  • Next: Thursday’s flows, due after the US close; a second green day would be the first back-to-back since October 29.

Bitcoin ETF inflows are back, and BlackRock had nothing to do with it. US spot Bitcoin ETFs took in a net $74.6 million on Wednesday, November 4, the first green day after three red ones, on the day BTC climbed back above $80,000.

What changed on Wednesday, in three lines:

1. Fidelity’s FBTC took in $236.7 million, its best day in the three weeks Farside’s table covers. 2. BlackRock’s IBIT lost $201.2 million, its fourth red session in a row. 3. Ethereum ETFs took in $53.0 million and ended a seven-day losing run.

BTC trades at $80,634 at the time of writing, up 4.9% in 24 hours. Farside’s Wednesday update has every fund’s number:

Why Did Bitcoin ETFs Turn Green While IBIT Kept Selling?

Because Fidelity bought more than BlackRock sold. FBTC’s $236.7 million covered IBIT’s $201.2 million exit on its own, and three smaller funds added the rest: ARK’s ARKB $19.9 million, Bitwise’s BITB $15.2 million and Invesco’s BTCO $4.0 million. The other seven funds reported zero.

That is a new role for Fidelity. A week earlier it was the sidekick: on October 27 it added $24.5 million next to IBIT’s $151.5 million in $176 million of Bitcoin ETF inflows. This time it carried the day while BlackRock sold.

Friday looked like the mirror image. On October 30 the two biggest funds sold together, IBIT $233.7 million and FBTC $201.0 million. On Wednesday they went opposite ways. IBIT outflows over the last four sessions now add up to $935.2 million, more than double the $410.6 million it took in during the dip buying from October 26 to 29.

Bitcoin ETF Inflows Came With the Rally, Not Before It

Wednesday was the first full session after the midterm results, and BTC rose 3.9% on the day. The ETF numbers are set at the US close, 21:00 UTC (4:00 p.m. in New York), so this money bought into a rally that was already running. That is normal for ETF buyers, who tend to pile in once a move is already under way.

One green day does not undo the week, though. Since Friday, Bitcoin ETFs are still $1.08 billion down, and November is $439.6 million in the red after three sessions. One green print after three red ones is a breather, not a trend.

Ethereum ETF Inflows End a Seven-Day Losing Run

Ethereum ETF inflows reached $53.0 million on Wednesday, per Farside. BlackRock’s ETHA added $32.8 million, Fidelity’s FETH $19.2 million, Grayscale’s Ethereum Mini Trust $13.6 million and Grayscale’s ETHE $9.7 million. BlackRock’s staked Ethereum fund ETHB was the only one out, with $22.4 million.

The seven red days from October 26 cost $656.4 million, so Wednesday wins back less than a tenth. November stands at $172.0 million out. ETH closed Wednesday at $2,425, up 6.6% on the day, and trades at $2,428, still under its 50-day average at $2,509.

Bitcoin Price: Back Above $80,000, Still Under the 50-Day

The BTC price closed Wednesday at $80,504, up from $77,454 a day earlier and its highest close since October 28. Overhead sits resistance at $81,479, then the 50-day moving average, the average close of the last 50 days, at $82,152. A daily close above both would confirm the bounce. A slide back under support at $76,264, where buyers stepped in on election night, would cancel it. Fear & Greed jumped to 50, neutral, from 34 a day earlier.

TRAIL MAP: Ethereum ETF Outflows Hit $1.61B in October, Their Worst Month of 2026

For scale, FBTC’s best day ever was $473.4 million, twice this one. It didn’t need a record to outweigh BlackRock.
